[Speaking of talking to acquaintances, Keats was among the more interesting people Minato's talked to before even if that's not exactly why he's calling now. He just wants to know how people are faring, really.]

Good afternoon, Keats-san. How have you been?

[Oh, he recognizes the voice. It was the young man he met when they were trying to break out of the apartments...when there were still apartments.]

Ah...Minato, wasn't it? [A pause.] I've been better, if I have to be honest. How are you?

Voice;

[What a good memory! Keats might not see it, but Minato's secretly a little happy about that.] Tired, but I guess everyone feels that way right now...it's been a difficult month, from what I've seen.

Voice;

[nosentimentalist]

[Hey, he's a journalist- if he didn't remember things well, he'd be a lousy one and would get fired. It's just part of the whole business.]

It has been. [A pause.] Were you one of the ones kidnapped by the employees, or did you escape all that mess?

Voice;

[evocalize]

[Ssh, it still means a lot no matter why Keats remembers it! Minato makes a tiny and unhappy sound when he hears that question, but then anyone would considering the chances of being killed by something else during that week.]

I was kidnapped. It's over now, thankfully...I spent the entire week in my apartment and it looks like it was just as dangerous outside anyway. [Craters and destroyed buildings, man- Minato has that feeling that he'd probably had gotten into problems with those if he wasn't staying in bed all the time.]

Voice;

[nosentimentalist]

...I was kidnapped too.

[Says Keats, quietly. He was still getting over it, as much as he told himself that he needed to move on.]

And yes, it seemed like some people came back with more than just possible fuel for nightmares....including me. At least that's all over now.

Voice;

[evocalize]

I'm sorry to hear that. [Minato wonders then if a lot of people had been taken, only stopping himself from venturing further on it because it doesn't help to think about that now that everyone's back.]

It seems to have happened to a lot of people, and I'm worried about what it means for us. I've had friends that were kidnapped before, but it didn't use to be this bad.
